The SHIMANO STEPS MTB drive unit, small but with a powerful 60Nm wheel torque, was designed to provide you with all the pleasure of cycling without the stress. The compactness of the drive unit gives the e803 the same feeling and manoeuvrability of a normal MTB. The Q-factor (the distance between pedal attachment points on the crank arms) is exactly the same as seen in the DEORE XT crank, but with a superb natural feeling. Going uphill has never been such fun.
